| I just use those XLR-rca adapters Hosa makes to convert AES to SPDIF when I need to.
It works. I'm using short lengths, I know what I'm doing, but it does work. You can get away with plenty in digital but the "right way" to do things is truly foolproof (i.e. high-interference environments, long runs, cranky gear, etc.). |
