| I could be wrong, but I'm thinking "ambient noise reduction" refers to how much it will reduce noise coming from outside of the headphones as compared to how much "leakage" will occur.
I have the DT 770's in the booth and most VO talent love them. They are very comfortable and relatively light. Leakage is a non-issue with them.
To me, they sound too "flat" but that justs the downside of listening to hyped Genelecs all day.
