It's such a joy to program on that thing. The best part is that since it boots up so quickly, I can jump in whenever I want and lay a quick idea down. Last night, I was making dinner and I had a few minutes before the rice needed to be switched from boiling to simmering. An idea just popped into my head, so I bolted into the studio, flipped on all my power conditioners (the MPC's usually ready by the time I've finished hitting the last switch and have sat down), sat down, played out a couple keyboard layers to get the ideas out of my head, saved, turned it all off, and ran back to the kitchen. I still had two minutes before I had to do anything with the oven. I could have never pulled that off in software!
