Thanks Jason for answering my questions. A friend of mine has a connection to material to build bass traps. I guess I could build them and then sell them when I leave, most people don't like to build them so they might want to buy mine. With the ideas above I was thinking of half-measures, but it sounds like they aren't even close to that so I'll try something else. Acoustics, like any science, takes a while to acquire a basic knowledge in. Thanks for your time.
