| Well I had both mics in one k47 and one m7. The m7 is larger sounding the k47 cuts and sits on top of the mix while the m7 kind of "inhabits" it. I ended up choosing the m7 but its still a little dark for me. One word of advice. DO NOT use the m7 with an avalon 737 strip. It's too spongy sounding. Tried it with an api strip and WOW. Such a personal intimate mic is the m7. Very natural and smooth as silk. K47 is more of a modern sound I guess. Its thinner but clearer and less woolly than the m7. I'm waiting on a brighter m7 version. Excellent mics. Blew the blue bottle with b7 cap out of the water |
