I own my own location recording biz, Ocean Star Productions (
Ocean Star Productions - Location Recording, Audio Mastering, and CD Duplication). It's small but I make a good deal of my income from it. I'm also about to start my fifth year in college double-majoring in Music Education and Music Composition.
Specialty:
Remote recording of classical and jazz music. I also play flute and piccolo in some local orchestras.
Gear:
I use a couple of Korg D888s for up to 16 tracks live recording. Backup to Reaper on my laptop. Mics include lots of Oktavas, some AKG, Earthworks, AT, and Shure. It's a bit on the "low-end" but I get great results out of my rig
