Very well said and i agree with every one of your examples.Maybe the culture makes you dig deeper to find more meaning in the message,Musically and lyrically.Three of my biggest influences for playing piano/keyboards,were Oscar Peterson,Keith Emerson/ELP,Jan Hammer.
The seventies was an exciting time to grow up in and the be exposed to all the great music that was done then,kinda hand in hand with technology and the new instruments that were created and all of the great records that were done both in England and America.
