It's been quite a while since my the last update - but unfortunately attachments have been dissabled for the last month or so, therefore it has been impossible to post the final pics of the finished studio...
What has happened meanwhile: Studio 1 has been open for quite a while now and we have been really busy mastering, which is absolutely necessary since we definitely need some cash ;-) Studio 2 and 3 are also up and running - this Tuesday we had our opening party which was a lot of fun. Somewhere arround 200 people showed up to se the new studio and almost everyone stayed quite long, chilled and had quite a few drinks...
Since the upload seems to work again I think I owe this thread a couple of final pics, but before I post them, first of all we would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this project - we did receive some questions regarding who did what and what suppliers we used - all of which we would hereby like to thank (I'll also put some links at the end of this post):
Of course first of all there is this crazy team of acoustic designers and our architect who patiently transformed all those ridiculous ideas (I think that's what he initially must have been thinking about the acoustic design) into a great sounding and beautiful looking mastering studio. Thanks Heinz and Gabriel!!! Also thanks to the supplier of our studio doors and special materials for the floating design (we used mostely Kinetics Noise Control), especially thanks for the doors which were among the best bang for the buck purchases - thanks Jan-Joost! Thanks to Martin from Klangfarbe, Brian from RPG, Mike @ Vintageking, Mark @ Funky Junk and last but definitely not least thanks to all the construction workers and companies who did a great job!
