I'm curious what that what bass rig was used? Sounds like a P-bass through an old Bassmate. It was a mic'd cab though wasn't it?

This tune is GREAT! Lots of realness going on! I can def hear Steve Cropper and Duck Dunn influences. I'm still learning, but maybe try pulling the bass back a little, and adding a bit of verb on the kit with 25ms of pre delay to pull it farther back.
