sorry, been a bit busy to update.. I'm waiting on absorption figures on the Noiseblok so once I get the data I'll add that also for those interested!
The plaster is sitting on foam rubber which is basically to seal the gap between the plaster and floor. Each wall is isolated from each other and the amount of sound pressure required to go through one wall, the concrete floor and into the next wall is so great we haven't "floated" the walls - however the flooring will be floated. It's a bit of a different way of building than the "old school" way and we are putting a lot of faith into our "Noise Control" specialist who is project managing the construction!!
