I just bought the 325 and I love them. Smooth. They remind me of Genelec monitors somehow. I often record musicians who want to hear their instrument in real life (not in the q mix) so they take off one side of their phones. The 325, being open back, gives me an option to let them hear a nice stereo q mix and hear the natural timbre of their instrument at the same time. another fringe benefit of open back phones is that they can prevent a heart attack. You know... you are deep in concentration inside phones and someone taps you on the shoulder at 3 in the morning. With open back phones, you can hear them coming!
