I love that they are not just another Neve clone. They have an obvious Neve color, but there is a superb presence (hello 28k button!) and punchiness (eye opening low end punch!) that is unique... yet familiar (sounds like...ehhh, a record.). Lower the gain & set the output at 0 and it is so smooth, crank the gain and you are now inches from the source! Guitars, vocals, bass, synths, piano, drums, entire mixes... even a plastic casio sk-1 sounds warm and round though these!

ok....I'll stop...


(now, if only Avedis would design a 500 series comp)
