I've had one for a few years. I like it a lot when tracking voice or acoustic guitar, especially with tube mics. I also use the limiter section a lot on acoustic guitars at mixdown. It also excels when using the DI(s) to track bass guitar or keyboards. I haven't had a lot of success when I used it on kick, snare or electric guitar mics. I love mine, and for the money, you can't beat it. I describe it as having an Old Skool hi-fi sound. |
