I don't like installing if I don't have to but why don't you try it out? Celemony.com has a demo for the plugin, install and try it out. When you need help, post and we can help you get through with less headache.
Just so you know, Melodyne is more of a PITA than autotune...but the results are better. You just have to know that you are going to have to put in some time learning it.
