| Thanks for the advice, but I feel powerless. There is a sub element here, not just his motives to upstage me, but the fact that friends and client's I thought I was solid with are turning on me.
I don't know how he is getting them to take sides, I think he is good at playing games.
I let him get close to my friends/clients...I was working in the studio he was socializing "in my name".
I am confronting my client about this, I realize it's there prerogative to hire who they want, but this is poor taste.
