Sparse, maybe, but nowhere near low-end. Those monitors alone are considered one of the best nearfields ever made (I'm a proud owner too).
BTW, you might want to consider taking your K+H's off those Auralex Mopads. If you do a search here on gearslutz you'll see my thread about how they actually made my K+H's sound worse. To get improvement on your monitors, the amount of weight on the Mopads has to be significant enough, and the K+H's are too light so you actually make the sound worse. There's a competitor's product to the Mopads out now that actually has a steel plate included to add weight and those are much, much better. The Auralex people are bastards for not putting any kind of a disclaimer on their Mopads--telling people the truth--that you much have enough weight to your monitors or else they make you monitors sound worse.
