Analog will NEVER be a thing of the past as soundwaves produced to make sound are analog and your ears which capture those soundwaves are analog.
Mark my words: the debate between
how that sound is captured - analog reproduction vs digitized approximation of reality - will rage on for ages. As for me: analog all the way.
