| Vortex "chaining effects"
Page 22-24 of the manual.
Basically, you clear register pairs from the User Area of the memory and make effects that you want to use, in the order you want to use them. You can then increment through the chain of effects. It's not like lining up +DSP effects on a Metric Halo box, but Vortex still OWNS the effects morphing world.
I feel lucky to own one of these weird and commercially unsuccessful boxes. If you haven't bought/built all of the switches/pedals, do so. Pedal morph control is the way. Find for under $200 on ebay. I'd pay $500 for a MIDI Vortex with balanced I/O and s/p-dif, but there is no such thing.
