There's nothing wrong with being a hobbyist. Someone has to do it. You're probably making the right choice, because once something becomes your job a lot of the fun and excitement can drain right out of it.

The only time I have any fun is when I go to the studio late at night and work on something for MYSELF. Then it's fun again. If I'm on the clock, well... let's just say that it's fun sometimes....
