I have a Apogee AD-16x and a DA-16x and now a UA2192. I use Samp 8.3, I don't think I can use the Apogee's with firewire and the UA2192 with the AES16 at the same time.
Does anyone know if that is really the case? If I could I would be all set and I could tell Lynx to shove it (which is about where I stand on the issue right now anyway).

I haven't used X-series with firewire but I know on symphony and PTHD you get 16 channels of digital routing via AES/ADAT. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to take advantage of this as well via firewire but there may be a limit on how many channels you can transmit especially at >48kHz. Best bet would be phone Apogee, always great tech support and I'm sure they would be more than happy to sell you some new X-firewire cards
