Tech support was great to me, always responded fast and is aware of problems but alot of it is HUI itself. So if any pro tools users update to 1.0.2 please let me know the upgrades
like is there unlimited banking? can we put faders in write mode? if we switch to mix screen can we exit back out to the edit screen? can we edit plug ins beyond the first 8?

I'm not a PT user, I'm running Logic with the MC Mix, but here is the text from the installer for the update, looks like at least one of your questions os answered there:

Cubase and Nuendo plug-in windows now close when Close plug-ins on workstation when exiting is checked in the General tab in EuControl Settings.
A crash in EuControl was fixed that occurred when opening certain Logic Pro projects. It could also occur on occasion when adding a track in Logic Pro.
HUI and Mackie Control applications can now access all of a project's tracks, not just the first 32 tracks. When configuring your application, set up one HUI (or Mackie Control) for each MC Mix you are using. See the EuCon Application Setup Guide (PDF) rev E or later for complete setup instructions.
