More than a bit confused here..

Basically I'm trying too find out if the clock reference effects the internal mix engine within a Pro tools HD setup.

Obviously using a good clock source such as a Big Ben improves the performance of your convertors and therefore any AD/DA conversions but does it make any difference when mixing everything internally and then doing a bounce to disc?

I've been using Pro Tools for years but mainly as a multi track and any explanations into the depths of the TDM mixer and if clocking has an effects on it or the bounce to disc performance would be most appreciated as there seeems to be a lot of misinformation floating about on this subject.
