| aux,bus,inserts,outserts....what does it all mean? i'm getting ready to jump into a 'upgrade'
frenzy after years of strictly digital music
production and performance and i would like
to be on top of it before i start making purchases.
now, this is not gonna happen at once, most likely
for the next year or so but i'm preparing myself
for it and one of the things has been making my
head turn are all the ins and outs of a mixer with
all their options of busses and auxes and inserts
and returns and.......well, you know what i'm talking
about.
so for those who'd like to help me out understand
it better maybe you could describe what does it all
mean and do, in short sentences. and even more,
point me to the right literature for further investigation.
i believe the more i understand it the better i can visualize what i need to get and how i should set it up.
thanks in advance_
