hardware synth's for vst (or protools)

Hey yall, got another question that's apparently way over my local music store clerks' heads. I'm looking for more alternatives to the software vsti's. I'm also not interested in a regular synth keyboard. There doesn't really seem to even be a category of this / doesn't exsist. does it?

The closest thing i can find, is the Virus TI. Other alternatives I've heard of are TC Powercore has some synths, not sure about UAD if they have any or not. Scope? not sure.

So what I really what sounds like a real keyboard, but usable entirely controllable with the pc. ie. can load session, and all presets, sounds, controls etc. are loaded up all at once.

The Virus TI would be awesome, if only there was no latency to play it while using it through vst. Why doesn't this exist?? It just seems stupid to me.

I mean I like softsynths and some are really good too (proteus vx), but hardware is better!!

anytips, suggestions, up and coming news??
