Sorry it's been so long since the last update, but we've been very busy transforming this place from a construction site into a studio. And besides some minor technical issues and cosmetics the acoustic and technical part is close to finished!!
So far we are very pleased the way everything has turned out. There have been lots of memorable moments on our way - especially turning on the monitoring for the first time in each room and listen to some music...
But even measured by all the excitement and adrenalin kicks during this big adventure, I have to say that today is a special day. As I write this George (the other crazy guy spending as much time and money as I am) is picking up our design team (WSDG) from the airport...
The next couple of days the rooms will be measured, speakers will be moved and by the end of this we'll know what we've got and if anything needs to be improved. But as far as we can tell there is not much room for improvement: They did an amazing job designing our studio - and the builders did a great job realizing their design.
I have new pics in my camera, but so far have had no time to get them off the camera and post them - which sometimes takes quite long, since the gearslutz server seems very busy...
