10% of one CPU is the spike. Like when doing multiple editing tasks. It's generally straddling the 3-4% area of ONE processor. So in actuality we're talking about 1.5-5% of CPU resources, with the majority of the time being at 1.5-2% In comparison, Firefox uses between 7 and 9% and up to 20% which is 3.5-4.5% or up to 10% of CPU resources while browsing pages.
