Hi Edwin,

So here's the big question - is your new machine working with a Firewire interface? The reason I ask is that my new MacBook Pro (bought November 2007) also claims to have a TI chip when I boot in single-user mode. BUT, it has all the problems of the Agere-based models - it will not see many brands of Firewire audio interface...
