Yeah mine is inverted too (pin 3 hot). But there is a polarity switch on it that I just leave set to invert. No need for fancy cables.
Surprising manufacturing error though.
A bigger problem I'm having is that the thing has started conking out on me fairly regularly. There are these switching sounds that sound like hardware relays going off...about four or five clicks...and then the DA10 falls silent. These sounds are eminating acoustically from the hardware itself, not coming through the signal path. The only thing that can revive it is a power cycling. I have optical and coaxial S/PDIF hooked up, XLR outs, normal power connected. Thinking about sending this in for a looksee.
