Worked with:
Focusrite Saffire LE (for a year) / Saffire Pro 10 I/O (for half a year)
- both lost connection from time to time, needing to be "reset" (take out the Firewire plug out from the back of the damn thing, back on); this happened on two PCs, one with a Texas intstruments Firewire card, another with some unknown Firewire card (to me), and also on a Mac
Echo Audiofire 4 (for 3 months)/ Audiofire 8 (for a few days)
- stable as goddamn rocks; no dropouts, no tomfoolery, no nothing; you'd think they're PCI cards, and stable ones, at that.
None of the above died (as of yet).
