I haven't heard that CD. I'll have to look into it. I've heard that the R84 can sound "hairy" or "wooley". I've heard good things about the FH and Trion but I've been burned in the past by buying cheapo gear and don't want to make those mistakes again. The Naked Eye sure looks good as far as the description goes and it's probably indestructable and will probably far outlast the cheepies. Maybe I should just pick up a Fathead and give it a go since it's so cheap. Have any of you guys done this already and then wished you wouldn' have?
I can get the Trion new for $219.
