Hello,

So I have decided to upgade my preamps to higher end stuff, now I need to upgrade my mics! The mics I have now are:

2xSM57
1xD112
2xRode NT5
1xMD421
1xC1000S(retired)
1xBehringer B1(retired)

I am looking at purchasing the following:

Blue Blueberry
AKG C414 B-XLS
Shure SM7B
1 more MD421

These will be for rock recordings. I usually record metal music so screaming, singing, and both male and female vocals will most likely be tracked. I also play tons of acoustic guitar so mics that can accommodate this would be great. Hopefully my research has led me in the right direction!. Please let me know if this would be a good selection or if maybe they're too redundant. Thanks!
