If you want accuracy and these are your only 2 options, then by all means go with the MSP7. I was just over at a friends studio last night and he has the msp10 and the hs80m side by side. When switching between the two (using a Dangerous Monitor ST), the hs80m do not sound revealing at all. They sound bright but NOT revealing. I had the same experience when i had a pair of HS80m.
I guess you can learn to use the hs80m but for the small difference in price you are getting a BIG step up in accuracy. Just my thoughts.
