hello everyone one, this is my first time on the forum so this has probably been asked and answered many times but i havent been able to find it so i shall ask....

i just wanted opinions on STUDIO PROJECTS condenser microphones for use in a 4 mic drum recording setup. i was recently recommended to use 2 of these as over heads - 1 to be placed roughly 3 drum stick lenghts high above the bass drum batter, and one the same distance but to the floor tom side of the snare drum.

because i am on a very very tight budget i just want opinons on wether this set up would get a decent drum sound or if id be better off getting a few sm 57's to put on the toms ?
