| I bought a 609 Silver recently and tried it on toms last week along with a few others. FWIW, the 421 smoked it on that particular kit.
I really liked it on a guitar cab the next day, however, wher I used it instead of the 421.
421s are still my favourite tom mics after trying various others recently - largely because the 421s can be a bitch to position. |
