+1 for sytek. clean, fast, crisp, has gain to spare. Bottom end is a little loose but hard to find a better deal if you are recording acoustic stuff. Probably not the best choice for male rock vocals though.
btw there's no phantom on trp.
A designs hr500+p1 would be nice for vocals for $1000
