Anyway.... I'm really a musician and don't know anything about the movie industry. Is this festival worth it's salt? Do you think it would be a good idea to invest in going to the festival? (I'm in my last semester of a grad degree and don't have a lot of time or money....)
I think it would be cool just to watch it in a theater and see peoples reactions.

Depending on how far away--how much of a pain etc it is to get there I'd say it would be very worth it to hear your mix in another theatre and sweat-test it w/ a real audience. A priceless bit of education I'd say. Also, a tenet of Phil's Philosophy Re: The Care And
Feeding Of Filmmakers is that they like other members of the team to come to the premiere (anyhow) with them for support and to present a bigger target....
