WOW,
never knew.
i always knew i liked the e609's but now that i hear it compared ot other things,..i understand why a bit more.
i really like the sound of teh 409 though, i could use one of those for some very nice raw recordings 
it's nice ot have a rolloff and boost an flat option however.
