I have the Rockit 8's with a KRK sub and they are not bad for the money, but I prefer to mix on my new pair of Adam A7's. They are more accurate sounding to me, better mid-range. The KRK's are better for bass heavy music even without the sub. Since I do mostly acoustic the Adams suit me better, though.

That being said, several years ago when I went from my original monitors, Alesis M1 MKII's to the KRK Rokit 8's, it was astonishing how much better they were. Now if only I could afford those Barefoot MM27's......
