Most Audio unit plugins work with the c4. As a matter of fact i use sony oxford plugs with the c4 extensivly.

It maps the parameters as it gets them from logic automaticly, but u can still customise. I never bothered with the sony though, cause dynamics and eq are mapped and labelled really well on the c4/ and the other plugs have less parameters than the c4 has knobs). Labeling can be a problem with other plugs/e.g. tritone stuff, that i love for their sound, but the parameters are poorly labeled for controllers.

The only plugins that dont work to well on the c4 i came across are stylus and some other softsynth with millions of parameters. With them u can use the logic automapp function though.

One important tip with using the c4 is: set it up as its own controller group. Then u can edit plugin parameters on the c4, while u pan or work on sends on the main unit. I love that part. And that makes the channel strip button on the c4 migthy.

Overall im very very happy with the c4... great controller and a lot more usefull than the main unit when it comes to plugins. The whole package started to make sens in the moment i had the c4 installed.
