I listened through the first 23 featured tracks. There was one banger, one good track, two decent tracks, and the rest were bad to horrible. Using my dusty ass ears (it's been years since I did radio or owned a record pool), I'd say there was maybe 3 tracks tops out of 23 that have a chance at getting picked up. That leaves a lot of room for any of y'all with some heat. |
I certainly understand tight budgets. I was very poor in this music industry at one time. Having said that, i have always found investing in myself and my career to be very worthwhile investing. not everything has a tangible dollar return, not everything works out to be a great investment, but if you look at it as money spent developing your career, then you can better decide if its money well spent.
Most people i've known who say "I'll do this or that as soon as i see a few paychecks from this music thing" usually wait the rest of their career for that paycheck. Things dont just come to you in the music industry or life, you gotta go take them. and my assistant tells me my mix is back up and ready to work, so i'm gonna go take this record and mix the hell out of it right now so i can create more opportunities for myself.
