One thing i can definitely say is that I've come to find out that PMP is founded and run by real music industry heavyweights. people who can facilitate the connection between artists, managers, labels, and producers. People who can actually make it happen, not just promise to make it happen. Those artists who have Beat Drops on PMP, they got there because of the people who run the site, and they use it.
That doesnt mean that just joining the site, you'll get put on. You still have to bring the talent to the table. It also really lets you know how good your competition is. If all you are doing is sampled beats, and you hear 50 other hot sample beats only on the featured tracks playlist, then maybe you have to take into question what your doing and how your doing it. If your sample beats slay the competition, then cool, if its just another one of the 50 hot beats on the feature section, your just a sheep in the herd.
You always, as a producer or artist or ????? have to find a way to bring people to you, make connects, and be original and hot at the same time. Not everyone is capable of that, but this site is for real.
But actually, dont bother signing up, just less competition for me.
