1 had the most low end, but there was some boomy resonance that I would be concerned might stick out in a mix. So I think I preferred 4, closely followed by 2. I do like the woodiness of 1.

Depends on the style of music it's destined for, but they all sounded a little "distant", like there was more room in there than I'd normally want... as I say, depending on the style. If it was for jazz, I'd be keen to try all of them (but especially 2) positioned a little closer.
