As the author of Dialogue Editing for Motion Pictures: A Guide to the Invisible Art, I appreciate the interest I see in production sound editing within the post production forum. And of course, it never hurts to see kind words about the book! Dialogue editing is seldom taught and often misunderstood, so it’s good to have a place like gearslutz.com to discuss problems and air frustrations.
I’m happy that my book is among the tools suggested to forum members seeking cleaner, smarter, more focused dialogue tracks that help to tell a story.
