well Ive had a guy @ GC tell me to run a preamp (like a LA-610 just for example) str8 into a bass cabinet for my bass...I asked him if i need a poweramp too...he said no...i told him it wouldnt get enough power then...he said run 2 preamps and daisy chain them together...LOL...Im laughin just thinkin about it right now...lol...

I heard to work there u have to be able play a scale on ur instrument and for the pro audio guys just hook up a midi controller or keyboard and get sound...thats like ur ultimate test...lol...
