Doesn't really matter, If Robert Plant, who is a huge part of what made LZ's music so great isn't going to bring it up a notch, or isn't able, I wouldn't consider paying big money to see them.
Yea. I take it back. There are performers who have been doing it for 50 years that still deliver the goods.

Another part of what you're hearing may be the fact that they lowered the key to accommodate his voice and he's not stretching as hard. That can make a huge difference in the perception of "passion" in a singing performance.
