I can explain what's happening- ProRemote currently doesn't know the track type- It can't discern an aux from an audio track. It also has no clue about mono or stereo- The remote detects stereo by looking at the meter data when it receives it. So not perfect by any means but those are the limitations of the HUI protocol (at least what I have reversed of it so far).
Other companies' DAWs that support what I'm doing (like Apple with Logic) will have greater integration and control with ProRemote... [I suspect more than what ProTools is offering me]. Only time will tell. If Digi would let me in on their own control surface protocol I would able to do alot more with the remote...not only that but it looks like they have a faster protocol over ethernet- that would reduce my latency even further... such is life, I'm glad it works at all w/ ProTools.
