Update..
Changed the cables...
Double checked the IEC cables.
It's definately the tweeters making the hum / hiss.
I've sent an email to Yamaha, as well as the place I bought them - due to the Festive season I can imagine it'll be a few days before I get a reply.
Any suggestions still welcome.. Similar experiences?
