The Essence set a very high standard. The Potion is also great for more intense stuff, which I seem to do less often. When I use it on vocals I typically go crazy (think Deftones vocal compression) then turn the mix control down to around 60%. If you concentrate on the breaths, it's easy to gauge how much or how little you need. That said, I'd reach for the Essence 1st. |
i just missed a couple of CX-1 on ebay the other-day, i fell asleep and spaced them:(~
i only wanted them for historical purposes but still i am sure they would get some use.
