other than designing the pcb's the 800 is very simple. The plexi
is all point to point on a board. With all the parts you could assemble

hmmm... I've soldered lots of audiocables, but I've NEVER handled any electric circuits, nor do I understand them at all.
plus, a plexi handles heavey voltages up to 500 volts - that can be a bit dangerous for somebody who doesn't have a clue about electronics.
