yes, it's likely that the cd and the vinyl are the same "master"...probably the only difference is that the vinyl was cut from the pre-dither 24 bit files. this is pretty common practice, actually. only SOME of the time do they bother to use anything other than the 16 bit cd master files to cut vinyl masters! weird.
